Some people invest a lot of time thinking the ‘American Dream’ is for someone else. The idea of home ownership for many is out of reach. In California, that is true in large part due to higher costs of living and the wage gap that exists for large sectors of the population. For the average person making between $30,000 – $50,000 a year (which used to be a lot of money compared to the cost of housing) it is easy to see why the frustration level must be exceptionally high for those who work hard and yet never seem to get ahead.
While there are mortgage assistance programs, and ways to find support from wealthier relatives, friends and colleagues, it is still a big expense for the masses not enjoying 6 figure incomes or higher.
I recently referred a qualified buyer who was working 6 verified part time jobs to a colleague for a mortgage. They went with a starter home in the Inland Empire. They were happy with their decision to find a way to buy. While not everyone who can afford real estate sees it as a good investment for them, it was their personal choice.
We work with those people who are ready, and want to either buy, sell, and/or lease real estate properties in all shapes and sizes. The ‘American Dream’ is a condo, a single-family house, or to be a renter, and not have the investment in real property.
WE GET IT – and STAND PREPARED to SERVE.
